I realized after much vomiting and only rushing to eat when I piled the food high, that my Siamese Cody, had Whisker Fatigue and He would rush to gobble his food or drink when I filled his bowl for either. Then he would barf repeatedly a short time later. Having the large opening and keeping it full causes him to drink more often and almost never barf.
