"My Lucy was diagnosed with a liver shunt and prescribed this food. She's doing really well on it. Her enzmes are back to normal and so are her bile acids. It is dry compared to other can dog food, but i just add some water and blend it through and have no problems."

"He ate this food reluctantly often leaving it until he was super hungry as nothing else was offered. Though canned, it was very grainy and difficult to remove from the can. I won’t buy again and don’t recommend. There are other better choices."

Bottom Line

If your dog requires specialized liver care and you're willing to work around the dry consistency, this food is a solid choice. Otherwise, consider assessing other alternatives.
