"When I took this perch out of the box and wiped off the dust with my hand, I got splinters! Terrible. I sanded it lightly, which helped, but when I wiped it off with a damp paper towel, the grain raised and it's rough again. Stay away from these. There's also no way of knowing what the wood actually..."
