Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Large Scoop (1)

The large size allows for scooping more litter at once, reducing the time needed for each cleaning.

  • Sturdy Handle (2)

The handle is sturdy and efficient for picking up wet litter

Cons

  • Wide Wire Spacing (3) major

The spacing between the wires allows small clumps and litter to fall through.

Tip: Use a wider litter bin or bag.

  • Fragile Design (2) critical

"I do not shake the scooper as much....no need when the litter just falls thru, which also leaves LESS DUST. NO Matter what all the litters advertise, there is dust in there from all the scratching they do, then do their business, and more dust created while they cover it. However, i do wish the hand..."

"I really liked this at first. It felt sturdy, is nice and large, and was able to grab the litter without leaving a bunch behind. But when I went to use it last night, one of the spokes broke. I can remove it but then it leaves a large gap and then isn't usable. We are going to try and salvage it ..."

Bottom Line

If you have a large cat or multiple cats and use finely clumped litter, this scoop may not be the best choice. However, for those with standard litter types and larger clumps, it serves well. It's great for easy cleaning, but the design flaws make it less versatile. It is still recommended for its durability and ease of cleaning
