Some dogs can hear the squeak, while others do not. Human feedback suggests the squeak is very quiet and may not be audible to all dogs but the toy makes very fewer squeaks newer squeakers seem to fail if the dog chews off the wiggle
Based on user feedback, it is not recommended to machine wash this toy. Hand washing with gentle detergent is suggested.
