The toy’s fur disintegrates quickly and causes a mess during play.
Prevention: Avoid purchasing for pet owners with heavy-chewing dogs.

The fur on the toy pulls off easily, causing a mess.
Factors: Heavy chewing, fur pulling
"Unfortunately I don’t recommend this toy!! It’s just so cute but my dog made a huge mess just pulling all the long fur off of it. I didn’t think about the long fur on it when I bought it but now I had to take it away right after I gave it to him."
If your dog is likely to chew heavily, consider a more durable alternative. The toy is more appropriate for aesthetic pleasure and light play.
