The overall sentiment of the reviews for the KONG Extreme Dental Dog Chew Toy with Rope is mixed. However, the product has recurring durability complaints, with many reviewers noting that the rope component does not last long. Some users appreciate the toy's design and functionality for play, but overall, most reviews are critical of its durability and longevity. Potential buyers should consider these aspects and may need to monitor how their dog chews the rope to avoid quick disintegration of the rope.
The rope component consistently fails or breaks off
Best toy sent out
The rope component is not durable and easily dislodges from the rubber toy
Factors: Usage frequency, Dog's chewing strength
"Great kong toy. All the pups loved playing tug of war and stealing it from one another. Rope unraveled but I tied another knot for them. I still have an older one I got for Marley. The rope is now gone, but the rubber toy is still with us."
"unfortunately, my pups dilt pull but a couple times and the rope came straight out. Sorry Chewy."
Some owners seem to like it but would not repurchase due to the flawed rope design, which does not hold up to chewing.
Durable and well-loved by dogs, but mixed reviews on durability for heavy chewers.
Glow-in-the-dark frisbee for fun night play; durability issues noted.
Excellent for active dogs, highly durable and fun
Durable, engaging, and fun dog toy with glow feature, highly recommended.
Durable chew toy, great for strong chewers but not for tugging.
Durable tug toy loved by dogs, but durability could be better.
