"This brush is better for thicker hair puppies since it is rough and sharp bristles and may hurt the puppies if brushed too hard . But over all it’s great , removes hair and leaves looking good !"

"I have two tiny Yorkies. One has silky hair, but one has very thick fine hair that mats very easily. I was trying to find a wire brush without plastic tips on the end because my old Lil Pals brush has lost a lot of tines. The plastic tips grab and pull that fine hair. This brush was not the solution..."

Bottom Line

This brush is good for thicker-coated dogs, but it is advised to use it gently especially on puppies. Consider the dog's coat type and sensitivity with this product. It's a decent alternative for a quick grooming session, but comes with some precautions that users should be aware of based on the reviews
