The toy's flat shape and lightweight make it easy to handle while playing or picking up your dog
The toy can tear easily, especially with larger or more destructive dogs.
The toy has a short lifespan.

"Surprisingly, the Disney plush toy in the shape of a Flounder has held up better than many other toy plush 'flat' shapes in the past. "
"Labradoodles make short work of toys due to their chewing strength. Flounder did not hold its shape after rapturous puppy pounce play. My year old labradoodle destroyed the fish almost instantly."
If your dog is a gentle chewer, this toy is a delightful addition. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere.
Durable and well-loved by dogs, but mixed reviews on durability for heavy chewers.
