The Sofa-Scratcher Attach 'n' Scratch is a sturdy and well-built scratcher, but some users find it overpriced. It works well for cats but may not stick securely to all surfaces. Each scratcher is equipped with Command strips, making it easy to mount and reposition but is notably overpriced.
The scratching post is very sturdy and well-constructed.
Consumers on tighter budgets do not think the quality is worth the price.
Factors: Heavy use, Mounting method
Yes, many users reported that it is well-built and sturdy.
No, it may not adhere well to some surfaces, especially smooth ones.
"Within seconds of mounting these to the wall by our cat shelves, they were in use. I love that these don't use up floor space. They feel incredibly sturdy and well-built. The use of command strips is so convenient, if we ever need to move them to a new spot, we can just replace them. Awesome scratch..."
"My cats do like the product, but $40 for a small piece of wood is so not worth the money. If you buy it, buy it on sale."
If you're on a budget this isn't the best buy and may not be a good idea after all. Set the scarts at an appropriate height so that your cats aren't wasting floor space. While the placement sticks to the wall well enough, it doesn't stick to every material.
