"My 8 year old German Shepherd Dog Sampson has allergies to chicken, lamb, fish, corn, wheat, and rice. Adirondack is excellent quality, Sampson loves it, and it is free of ingredients that he reacts to. It's not the cheap kibble but it's a good price for the quality of ingredients in the food."

— Kim

"Unfortunately, one of my two had a systemic Allergic reaction to this formula. I imagine it is the legumes and peas Since they eat pork. I had to discontinue and try another dog food brand. However, they did like this food."

Bottom Line

This dog food is highly recommended for dogs with allergies and weight management concerns. It's worth the investment, but be prepared for a higher price point and consider adding fruits and veggies to avoid constipation.
