Aqueon Herbivore Shrimp Food is highly praised by shrimp but has a major usability concern with the tablet disintegrating.
Shrimp and other aquarium inhabitants find the food highly palatable.
The product is affordable compared to other options.
The food tablet disintegrates in the tank, making cleanup difficult.
"The shrimp and everything else in aquarium like it too. I also got it on sale."
"Instructions say to remove from tank after 24 hrs. When I tried with my long tweezers, the puck exploded into a mess. Threw it away immediately, there is no way to keep a tank tidy with this. Not looking forward to having to vacuum it all up on this weekend's water change."
If you're looking for a budget-friendly shrimp food that your aquarium inhabitants enjoy, but are willing to deal with potential cleanup issues, this product might be for you. Otherwise, look for alternatives that do not disintegrate.
