"I've had one of these trimmers for probably 4 years now and it works great if you buy it for the right uses. It's not a powerhorse. It's not going to cut through your fluffy dog's thick coat. It's perfect for trimming the little bit of hair that grows between paw pads, around nails, faces, or ears. ..."

"Brand new and it just can't cut it, literally. Bought this to trim around faces, toes, and toe beans but it just can't do a clean cut at all. Tried on several of my little Toy poodles with different coat types and wish I hadn't wasted my money. I wish I had paid attention to some of the reviews."

Bottom Line

If you need a compact, easy-to-use trimmer for light grooming tasks, this is a good option. Just be prepared for the noise, and it might not be the best choice for heavy-duty jobs or noise-sensitive pets.
