"These products are great for quick checks."

"This is not accurate at all! I bought this because I thought it would be easier than using a master test kit but it’s not even close to being accurate! It says the pH is 6.2 and my ammonia is 0.7ppm. My master testing kit (which I trust WAY more) says the pH is 7.3 and my ammonia is 0.02ppm."

Bottom Line

While the product has a low price point, its inability to provide accurate measurements makes it a poor choice for serious aquarium keepers. Those who aren't concerned about accuracy might find value in using it for an extra layer of checking, but it shouldn't be relied upon for crucial diagnostics. Spend more for a reliable kit, it may just save you from false alarms.
