Considering its durability issues, this toy is not a worthwhile investment. There may be better alternatives available. Peyton Roof Safety & Engineering indicated to us this was definitely not within safety specifications of a dog toy in a boxing match...appearing to have a texture of colored rubber specifically designed for ease when biting.
