"I have been using this product for my juvenile bearded dragons. Its safer than sand at this age, because they tend to eat their bedding and this bedding is made from compressed timothy hay which won't hurt their stomachs. Its very absorbent and I don't have to worry about scooping sand every day. Gr..."

"I got this on a whim instead of sand for my beardie. I’m not in love with it and she isn’t either. It smells pretty bad and when she kicks it in her water it breaks down and makes the water cloudy. I wouldn’t recommend it for reptiles. Maybe bunnies or guinea pigs."

Bottom Line

If you are looking for a safe and absorbent reptile bedding, this product is a good choice, but be aware of the smell and potential water issues. It’s a good value for the price.
